Direct Material Supplies (DMS) was established in 2001 to supply industrial products and equipment to the mining industry in Ghana. Our offices, workshop and distribution centre are located in Obuasi which the central point of mining activities in Ghana.

Although our head office is located in Ghana we also export to the rest of West Africa particularily Guinea, Mali, Sierra Leone and Burkina Faso. You are welcome to contact us with your requirements wherever you may be.

At DMS we have built up our reputation through excellent relationships with our customers and suppliers and consider ourselves to be a first class company to do business with.

DMS purchased a plasma cutter to offer "value-added" services to our customers in West Africa.

2005
Established steel yard in Obuasi to stock and prepare steel to customer requirements.
DMS appointed sole distributors for Hilco Welding products in Ghana.

2004
Opened trade counter in Accra.
Appointed as sole distributors for SSAB Oxelösund in Ghana.

2003
Awarded "best channel partner" for Africa by Farnell InOne. 

2002
Appointed sole distributors for Farnell InOne - one of the world's largest distributors of electronic components. 
Appointed sole distributors for Boreroc Drilling Supplies - a supplier of raise boring equipment and general drilling consumables. 

2001
Appointed sole distributors for Buck & Hickman in Ghana - the United Kingdoms largest distributor of industrial and maintenance products. 
Appointed as sole distributors for SSAB - a leading producer of hard wearing steel plate.
